Esther, 8

1. On that day king Assuerus gave the house of Aman, the Jews' enemy, to queen Esther, and Mardochai came in before the king. For Esther had confessed to him that he was her uncle.

Esther Chapter 8 deals with the solution found by Esther and Mordecau to the problem of the death sentence that had been decreed against the Jews. After Haman was hanged, the king issued a new decree that allowed the Jews to defend himself from his aggressors. Below are five verses related to the topics covered in this chapter:

Isaiah 41:10: "Do not fear, because I am with you; do not haunt yourself, because I am your God; I strengthen you, and help you, and I support you with my faithful right hand." This verse shows the importance of trust in God, which can help your faithful to face any situation.
