Daniel, 2

18. To the end that they should ask mercy at the face of the God of heaven concerning this secret, and that Daniel and his companions might not perish with the rest of the wise men of Babylon.

Daniel's chapter 2 presents King Nebuchadnezzar's dream and the interpretation given by Daniel, which reveals to him not only the meaning of the dream, but also details about the future of the kingdoms that would succeed the Babylonian Empire. Proverbs 25:2: "God's glory is to cover things up, but the honor of kings is in discovering them." This verse shows that God is the Lord of mysteries and revelations, and that it is up to Him to the decision of when and how to reveal them.

James 1:5: "If any of you have a lack of wisdom, ask it to God, who gives all freely, goodwill; and will be granted." This verse highlights God's wisdom, which is the key to the interpretation of dreams and revelations.

Colossians 2:3: "In Him are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge." This passage reminds us that divine wisdom is infinite and that through it we can understand the mysteries that are revealed to us.

Jeremiah 33:3: "Cry to me, and I will answer you, and I will announce you great and firm things you don't know." This is a promise of God for those who seek his wisdom and knowledge, showing that he is always willing to reveal his mysteries.

Luke 12:2: "But there is nothing covered that it should not be discovered; or hidden, that it should not be known." This verse shows that in the end everything will be revealed, and that divine wisdom is able to reveal the greatest mysteries, even those who seem impossible to understand.
