Galatians, 5

17. For the desires of the flesh war against the spirit, and the desires of the spirit are opposed to the flesh. Both are in conflict with each other, so that you cannot do everything you would like.

This fruit includes goodness, justice and truth, among other characteristics that relate directly to the fruits of the spirit mentioned in Galatians 5.

1 John 4:7 "Beloved, we love one another, for love proceeds from God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God." John emphasizes the importance of love among the brothers in Christ, which is a reflection of the love that God has for us. This love is what should motivate Christians' actions towards others.

James 2:17 "Thus, faith, if he has no works, is dead by itself." James highlights the importance of having an active faith that manifests itself through concrete works. This is a practical way to exercise Christian freedom through the love of neighbor and the practice of the fruits of the Spirit.
