Leviticus 1:3: "If your offer is a holocaust of cattle, male or female, it will offer an animal without defect; He will offer it at the door of the tent of revelation, so that the Lord may be conducive to Him." Here we see once again the importance that animals offered as a sacrifice must be perfect and without defects.
2 Samuel 24:24: "But the king said to Araúna, No, but for his price I will buy, because I will not offer the Lord my God burnt offering. silver." And you have thrown me, says the Lord of hosts; Armies; and bring the stolen, and the lame and the sick; so do the offer. I would accept to you, therefore, of your hand? Says the Lord. " This verse shows that God does not accept offers that are not sincere and are made with disdain or disrespect. He expects our offers to be made with sincerity and humility.
