Deuteronomy, 2

8. So we went on, away from our brethren the sons of Esau who live in Se'ir, away from the Arabah road from Elath and E'zion-ge'ber. "And we turned and went in the direction of the wilderness of Moab.

Deuteronomy 2:37 - "Only with the land of the children of Ammon you have not arrived, neither to the entire Ribeira Jaboque, nor to the cities in the mountain, nor anywhere the Lord our God has forbidden." This verse resembles the Israelites that they should not fight the children of Ammon, for God did not give them this land.
