Numbers, 4

41. These [are] they that were numbered of the families of the sons of Gershon, of all that might do service in the tabernacle of the congregation, whom Moses and Aaron did number according to the commandment of the LORD.

Chapter 4 of numbers deals with the responsibilities of the Levites regarding the transport of the tabernacle and the sacred objects during the journey through the desert. The selected verses are:

Hebrews 9:1-5: "Now the first covenant also had ordinances of worship and an earthly sanctuary. But behind the second veil was the tabernacle called the Holy of Saints, who had a gold censer, and the ark of the alliance all covered with gold ... "These verses describe the Tabernacle and their sacred objects in detail, giving a deeper understanding of how it all worked and how important it was for worship of God.
