Jeremiah, 6

10. To whom shall I speak, and give warning, that they may hear? behold, their ear [is] uncircumcised, and they cannot hearken: behold, the word of the LORD is unto them a reproach; they have no delight in it.

Psalm 51:17: "Sacrifices to God are the broken Spirit; to a broken and contrite heart thou shalt not despise, O God." This verse emphasizes that the true sacrifice to God is a broken and contrite heart, not simply external rituals.

Isaiah 1:16-17: "Wash, purify you, take the evil from your acts from before my eyes; cease to do evil. I learned to do good; , deal with the cause of the widows. " This verse calls people to abandon their sins and practice justice and goodness as a way of pleasing God.
