Genesis 6 tells the story of the flood, an event in which God decides to destroy humanity because of his corruption and evil, preserving only Noah and his family, as well as a representation of each type of animal in an ark. The selected verses are:
Isaiah 54:9: "For this will be to me as the waters of Noah; for I swore that Noah's waters would no longer flood the earth, and thus I swore that I will no longer go against you, nor will I rebuke you." This verse refers to Noah's flood as a promise of God that he will never destroy the earth with water again.

Matthew 24:37-39: "For as it was in the days of Noah, so will it be the coming of the Son of man. Genesis 9:11: "I establish my covenant with you: no creature will never be exterminated because of the waters of the flood; there will never be another flood to destroy the earth." This verse is God establishing the covenant with Noah after the flood, promising never to destroy the earth with water.
Hebrews 11:7: "By faith, Noah, divinely instructed about events that have not yet been seen and being fearful to God, built an ark to save his family; and through faith condemned the world and became heir to justice that is according to faith.
