Ezekiel, 14

20. And Noe, and Daniel, and Job be in the midst thereof: as I live, saith the Lord God, they shall deliver neither son nor daughter: but they shall only deliver their own souls by their justice.

Proverbs 1:28-29: "Then they will call me, but I will not answer; they will seek me, but they will not find me. For they bored science and did not prefer the fear of the Lord." This verse shows that those who despise the wisdom and fear of the Lord will not have their prayers heard.
