Nehemiah, 2

17. And so I said to them: “You know the affliction in which we are, because Jerusalem is desolate, and its gates have been consumed by fire. Come, and let us rebuild the walls of Jerusalem, and let us no longer be in disgrace.”

Nehemiah 2 narrates the moment when Nehemiah, a Jew who lived in Susa and worked as King Arterxes' cope, is allowed to return to Jerusalem and lead the reconstruction of the city walls, which had been destroyed years earlier. So I asked them to give me letters of authorization to the governors of the province west of the Euphrates River, to let me pass until reaching Judah,". Nehemiah asks the king authorization and resources to carry out the reconstruction work, showing that he was acting within the limits of the law and with the approval of the government.

Nehemiah 2:10: "When Sambalate, the Horonite, and Tobias, the Ammonite officer, heard of it, mocked us, and said, 'What are you doing? Are you rebeling against the king?' Nehemiah faces the opposition of enemies who mock and try to discourage him.

Nehemiah 2:17: "Then I said unto them, 'You are seeing the difficult situation we are in. . Nehemiah motivates the people to unite and work together to do the work, showing that it is possible to overcome the difficulties.

Nehemiah 2:20: "I answered them, 'The God of heaven will be successful. We, your servants, let's start rebuilding, but you have no right, no claim, no memory in Jerusalem.'" Nehemiah trusts that God is with Him and will help you overcome difficulties, showing your faith and trust in God.
