Leviticus, 22

21. The man who will have offered a victim of peace offerings to the Lord, either fulfilling his vows or offering spontaneously, whether of oxen, or of sheep, shall offer what is immaculate, so that it may be acceptable. There shall be no blemish in it.

Leviticus 22 deals with laws regarding the holiness of sacrifices and offers made to the Lord. It is emphasized that only healthy and perfect animals should be offered and that those who were unclean, such as those who had an illness or injury, were not acceptable as an offering.

Exodus 12:5: "The lamb will be without defect, a one -year male; you may take a lamb or a goat." This verse emphasizes the importance that animals offered as a sacrifice should be perfect, without defects or injuries.

Leviticus 1:3: "If your offer is a holocaust of cattle, male or female, it will offer an animal without defect; He will offer it at the door of the tent of revelation, so that the Lord may be conducive to Him." Here we see once again the importance that animals offered as a sacrifice must be perfect and without defects.

2 Samuel 24:24: "But the king said to Araúna, No, but for his price I will buy, because I will not offer the Lord my God burnt offering. silver." This verse highlights the importance of offering offers to the Lord who has a personal cost and sacrifice, rather than offering something that has no value or meaning to us.

Hebrews 13:15-16: "Through Jesus, then let us offer God, always, sacrifice of praise, which is the fruit of lips that confess his name. And do not forget of charity and communication, because with such sacrifices God is pleased. " This verse points out that the sacrifices God values ​​most are not animals or material goods, but our worship and love for Him, as well as our willingness to help and serve others.

Malachi 1:13-14: "even more said unto me, Here is here, that fastener is this! And you have thrown me, says the Lord of hosts; Armies; and bring the stolen, and the lame and the sick; so do the offer. I would accept to you, therefore, of your hand? Says the Lord. " This verse shows that God does not accept offers that are not sincere and are made with disdain or disrespect. He expects our offers to be made with sincerity and humility.
