Ezekiel, 7

16. And those who flee from among them will be saved. And they will be among the mountains, like doves in steep valleys, with everyone of them trembling, each one because of his iniquity.

Ezekiel 7 describes the arrival of the day of judgment on Jerusalem because of its disobedience and sin. The verses selected below reflect God's judgment on the people of Jerusalem and their lack of repentance:

Isaiah 13:6: "Shout of pain, for the day of the Lord is close; as a destruction coming from the Almighty, he will come!" This verse announces the arrival of the day of the Lord, a day of judgment for those who rebelled against God and His will.
