1 Samuel 22 narrates David's escape to Adulão, where he meets with others displeased and oppressed who join him. And so with confidence we dared to say, The Lord is my helper , and I will not fear what the man can do to me. " These verses encourage believers not to give in to greed and to trust the Lord as his helper and protector, just as David did during his Saul escape.
