Revelation, 9

5. They were not allowed to kill them but only to torment them for five months; the torment they inflicted was like that of a scorpion when it stings a person.

Verses related to Revelation, 9:

Revelation 9 describes the opening of the fifth and sixth seals, which results in the release of terrible pests on the earth. In the fifth seal, the persecution of the saints is revealed and, in the sixth seal, the devastation of earth and heaven. Here are five verses related to the topics covered in Revelation 9:

Matthew 24:21: "Then there will be great tribulation, as has never been from the beginning of the world so far, nor will there be." This verse describes the tribulation that will occur during the end of time, similar to what is described in the fifth seal of Revelation 9.

Luke 21:25:25-26: "There will be signs in the sun, moon, and stars; on the earth, anguish between nations in perplexity because of the bustle of the sea and the waves; men fainting from terror, expecting things that will survive to the world." This verse describes the chaos and destruction that will occur during the end of time, similar to what is described in the sixth seal of Revelation 9.

Joel 2:4-5: "Your appearance is like that of horses; and how knights like this. Like the sound of cars jumping over the hills of the hills, so they jump; like the sound of a flame of fire that consumes the Straw, so is the people who come in the crowd. " This verse describes an invasion of grasshoppers, similar to what is described in the fifth trumpet of Revelation 9.

Exodus 10:14: "Therefore the grasshops rose over the whole land of Egypt, and they landed on all their terms; they were very much; before these have never been so many, nor after them there will be." This verse describes a pest of grasshoppers that has hit Egypt, similar to what is described in the fifth trumpet of Revelation 9.

Isaiah 13:10: "For the stars of heaven and their constellations shall not give their light; the sun shall be dark at birth, and the moon will not shine with its light." This verse describes the darkness that will cover the earth during the end of time, similar to what is described in the sixth seal of Revelation 9.
