Nehemiah, 8

4. Ezra the scribe stood on a wooden platform that had been made for the occasion; at his right side stood Mattithiah, Shema, Anaiah, Uriah, Hilkiah, and Maaseiah, and on his left Pedaiah, Mishael, Malchijah, Hashum, Hashbaddanah, Zechariah, Meshullam.

" This verse highlights the importance of reading God's law and sharing it with the whole congregation, including women, children and foreigners.

John 14:15: "If you love me, you will keep my commandments." This verse emphasizes the importance of loving God and obeying His commandments, which are found in the law.
