Leviticus 3 deals with the offer of peace sacrifice, which is voluntarily offered as an act of gratitude and communion with God. The chapter describes the requirements for the sacrifice of flock animals, such as sheep, goats and cattle. The selected verses are:
Leviticus 22:29-30: "When you offer a sacrifice of thanksgiving to the Lord, offer you in such a way that it is acceptable. On the same day they eat it. Hebrews 13:15: "Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer God a sacrifice of praise, which is the result of lips that confess his name."
