Genesis, 17

23. Then Abraham took his son Ishmael and all his slaves, whether born in his house or acquired with his money--every male among the members of Abraham's household--and he circumcised the flesh of their foreskins on that same day, as God had told him to do.

Genesis 17 is a chapter that describes God making an alliance with Abram, changing his name to Abraham and instituting circumcision as a sign of this covenant. Romans 4:3: "For what does Scripture say?" Abraham believed in God, and it was credited to him as justice. " This verse highlights the importance of Abraham's faith in God, which was credited to him as justice, and is mentioned in Genesis 17.

Hebrews 11:8: "By faith Abraham, when called, obeyed and went to a place that would later receive as an inheritance, although he did not know where he was going." This verse highlights God's faithfulness in fulfilling His promises, even when people are unfaithful, which is evidenced in Genesis 17 when God promises Abraham who will have descent and will give him the land of Canaan.

Galatians 3:29: "If you are from Christ, you are the descent of Abraham and heirs according to the promise." This verse highlights the importance of Abraham's spiritual descent, which is mentioned in Genesis 17 when God promises Abraham who will be the father of many nations.
