Ezekiel, 39

7. I will make my holy name known among my people Israel; I will no longer allow my holy name to be profaned. Thus the nations shall know that I am the LORD, the Holy One in Israel.

Chapter 39 of the book of Ezekiel talks about the destruction of the enemies of Israel and the restoration of the earth. God promises to punish the invaders who have tried to conquer Israel and will show their holiness to all nations. He also promises to restore the earth and bless its people. Isaiah 66:15: "For, behold, the Lord will come with fire, and his cars as a whirlwind; to make his wrath fury, and his rebuke into fire of fire." This verse talks about the coming of the Lord with fire to judge his enemies, which is similar to the description of the destruction of the enemies of Israel in Ezekiel 39.

Isaiah 66:18: "And I, knowing their works and their thoughts, come to gather all nations and tongues; they will come and contemplate my glory." This verse talks about all nations coming to contemplate the glory of God, which is similar to God's promise in Ezekiel 39 to show His holiness to all nations.

Joel 3:17: "And ye shall know that I am the Lord your God, which I dwell in Zion, my holy mount; and Jerusalem shall be holy, and strangers will no longer pass through it." This verse talks about Jerusalem being a holy place where God dwells and no foreign nation can pass through it, which is similar to God's promised restoration in Ezekiel 39.

Joel 3:20: "But Judah will be inhabited forever, and Jerusalem from generation to generation." This verse talks about Judah and Jerusalem being inhabited forever, which is similar to God's promise in Ezekiel 39 to restore the earth and bless its people.

Zechariah 8:8: "And I will bring them, and they will dwell among Jerusalem; and they will be my people, and I will be their God in truth and righteousness." This verse talks about God bringing His people back to Jerusalem so that they can dwell there, which is similar to God's promised restoration in Ezekiel 39.
