2 Chronicles, 7

6. Thus the king and all the people dedicated the house of God. The priests were standing at their stations, as were the Levites, with the musical instruments of the LORD which King David had made for "praising the LORD, for his mercy endures forever," when David used them to accompany the hymns. Across from them the priests blew the trumpets and all Israel stood.

2 Chronicles 7 tells the conclusion of the construction of Solomon's temple and his dedication to God. Psalm 122:1: "I rejoiced when they said, 'Let's go to the house of the Lord.'" This verse highlights the joy of going to the temple and worshiping the Lord in community.

2 Chronicles 7:3: "When all the children of Israel saw the fire come down and the glory of the Lord over the temple, they knelt with their face on the ground on the floor, they worshiped and gave thanks to the Lord, saying, 'He is good !
