2 Chronicles, 15

8. When Asa heard these words and the prophecy (Oded the prophet), he was encouraged to remove the detestable idols from the whole land of Judah and Benjamin and from the cities he had taken in the highlands of Ephraim, and to restore the altar of the LORD which was before the vestibule of the LORD.

1 Kings 8:61: "And be your whole hearts to the Lord our God, to walk in their statutes, and keep their commandments as today." This verse highlights the importance of having an entire heart and committed to God, following his commandments and statutes.

2 Chronicles 16:9: "For as to the Lord his eyes pass all over the earth, to show himself strong to those whose heart is perfect to him ..." This verse highlights the importance of having a perfect heart to God, and that He is attentive to all who seek and trust Him.
