Numbers, 32

11. `Surely none of the men who came up out of Egypt, from twenty years old and upward, shall see the land which I swore to give to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, because they have not wholly followed me;

Verses related to Numbers, 32:

Numbers 32 addresses the granting of Gilead's land to the tribes of Rúben and Gade, as well as half of the tribe of Manasseh. They ask to dwell the earth to the east of the Jordan River, which was fertile to their flocks, and Moses agrees on the condition that these tribes help the other tribes to conquer the land of Canaan west of Jordan. Below are five verses related to the topics covered in numbers 32.

Deuteronomy 3:18-20: "At that time I commanded you to make the following statement to the Lord, 'O Lord God, you gave us the Earth east of Jordan as our property so that we may possess it.' The Lord your God to you He replied, 'You are right to say that I have given you this land. Therefore, send some men to explore it and they must bring a report on the earth that will inherit.' "This verse describes the grounds of the East of the Jordan Jordan. and God's command to explore the earth before settling in it.

Joshua 22:4: "And now that the Lord, his God, has given his brothers the rest he promised to them, return to the lands that Moses, servant of the Lord, gave them the east of the Jordan." In this verse, Joshua is remembering the tribes of Rúben, Gad and half of the Manasseh tribe about the granting of the Earth east of Jordan.

Joshua 22:9: "Then the Rubenites, the Gadites, and half of Manasseh's tribe left the other Israelites in Symil, in Canaan, to return to the land of Gilead, which belonged to them, as he ordered Moses, servant of the Lord." This verse shows that the tribes of Rúben, Gad and half of the Manasseh tribe returned to their land granted after helping to conquer the earth west of Jordan.

Joshua 22:16: "They said, 'The whole community of the Lord has gathered here, and why are you rebeling against the God of Israel today, building an altar to rebel against him?'" This verse reports a dispute between The tribes of Rúben, Gad and half of the Manasseh tribe and the other tribes of Israel due to a misunderstanding on an altar they built.

Joshua 22:33: "The Israelites were pleased and no longer talked about going to the war against the Rubenites and the Gadites and destroying the land they lived in." This verse shows that the dispute was peacefully resolved, and the tribes of Rúben, Gade and half of the tribe of Manasseh could remain in their land granted east of the Jordan.
