Luke, 3

16. John answered them all, "I baptize you with water; but he who is mightier than I is coming, the thong of whose sandals I am not worthy to untie; he will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire.

St. Luke 3 presents the preaching of John the Baptist and his baptism of repentance for the remission of sins. In addition, the chapter also brings the genealogy of Jesus and his public presentation in baptism by John. Below are five verses related to the topics covered in São Luke 3:
