In Joshua chapter 16, the borders and the division of the earth are described between the tribes of Ephraim and Manasseh. The following verses are related to the topics addressed in this chapter:
Numbers 26:52-54: "Then the Lord said to Moses, 'The earth will be divided among them as an inheritance, according to the number of names. Those who are many in number will receive a greater inheritance, and those who are few in number they will receive a lower inheritance. Each will receive their inheritance according to the census. " This verse shows that the distribution of land between the tribes of Israel was a plan of God since the time of Moses.
