Ezra, 3

2. Then arose Jeshua the son of Jo'zadak, with his fellow priests, and Zerub'babel the son of She-al'ti-el with his kinsmen, and they built the altar of the God of Israel, to offer burnt offerings upon it, as it is written in the law of Moses the man of God.

Verses related to Ezra, 3:

Ezra 3 describes the reconstruction of the altar and the celebration of the Tabernacle Feast by the newly arrived Jews to Jerusalem. The chapter also mentions the beginning of the construction of the temple and the joy of priests and Levites in the face of this project.
