Esther, 9

27. the Jews ordained and took it upon themselves and their descendants and all who joined them, that without fail they would keep these two days according to what was written and at the time appointed every year,

Esther 9 reports compliance with the death sentence to the enemies of the Jews, which had been previously decreed. The Jews won their enemies and celebrated the victory with the institution of the Purim party. Below are five verses related to the topics covered in this chapter:

Deuteronomy 25:19: "Therefore, when the Lord thy God has given you rest of all your enemies around the earth that the Lord your God gives you by inheritance, to possess it, shall erase the memory of Amaleque from heaven under heaven ; do not forget." " This verse talks about the joy that will come to Jerusalem after its restoration, which can be applied to the celebration of the Jews in Esther's history after his victory.
