27. So Solomon expelled Abi'athar from being priest to the LORD, thus fulfilling the word of the LORD which he had spoken concerning the house of Eli in Shiloh.

Chapter 2 of 1 kings deals with the death of King David and the succession of the throne by Solomon, his son. Matthew 6:33: "But seek first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you." This verse talks about the importance of placing God first and seeking His righteousness rather than seeking our own desires.
