Wisdom of Solomon, 12

8. Even so, since these were human, you treated them leniently, sending hornets as forerunners of your army, to exterminate them little by little.

Revelation 2:5-"Remember where it fell! Repent and practice the works you practiced at the beginning." This verse talks about repentance and the need to turn to the things of God.
