Romans, 9

8. That is, it is not by being children through physical descent that people become children of God; it is the children of the promise that are counted as the heirs.

1 Peter 2:9: "But you are the elected race, the royal priesthood, the holy nation, the acquired people, that you may announce the virtues of him who called you from darkness to their wonderful light." This verse talks about how believers are a God -chosen people to proclaim their glory.

John 15:16: "You have not you who have chosen me; on the contrary, I chose you to you, and I designate you to bear and bear the fruit, and your fruit will remain; My name, he will grant him. " This shows that the choice of those who would follow Jesus is made by Him, not by man.
