Romans, 9

22. But suppose that God, although all the time he wanted to reveal his retribution and demonstrate his power, has with great patience gone on putting up with those who are the instruments of his retribution and designed to be destroyed;

Verses related to Romans, 9:

Romans 9 discusses the divine election and sovereignty of God in salvation. Paul talks about how God's choice does not depend on human effort or genealogical lineage, but is based on mercy and divine will. He also discusses the relationship between Jews and Gentiles in salvation.

Matthew 22:14: "For many are called, but few chosen." This verse emphasizes that divine choice is selective, and not all those who are called are chosen.

Ephesians 1:5: "In love has predestined us to Himself, to the adoption of children through Jesus Christ, according to the beneficial of his will." This shows that God has chosen us to be His children even before the creation of the world, according to His sovereign will.

1 Peter 2:9: "But you are the elected race, the royal priesthood, the holy nation, the acquired people, that you may announce the virtues of him who called you from darkness to their wonderful light." This verse talks about how believers are a God -chosen people to proclaim their glory.

John 15:16: "You have not you who have chosen me; on the contrary, I chose you to you, and I designate you to bear and bear the fruit, and your fruit will remain; My name, he will grant him. " This shows that the choice of those who would follow Jesus is made by Him, not by man.

Acts 13:48: "The Gentiles, listening to this, rejoiced and glorified the word of the Lord; and they believed all who had been destined for eternal life." This demonstrates the idea that those who believe are those who were destined for eternal life by God.
