Romans, 10

8. What does it say, then? The word is very near to you; it is in your mouth and in your heart, that is, the word of faith, the faith which we preach,

Ephesians 2:8-9: "For by grace you are saved, through faith; and this does not come from you; it is the gift of God. It does not come from the works, so that no one can glorious." This verse points out that salvation comes by the grace of God through faith in Jesus. He emphasizes that salvation is not achieved by its own works or merits, but it is a gift from God.

John 3:16: "For God loved the world in such a way that he gave his only begotten Son, that everyone who believes in him will not perish, but have eternal life." This verse is one of the best known in the Bible and highlights God's love for humanity and salvation through faith in Jesus. He emphasizes that those who believe in Jesus will not perish, but will have eternal life.
