Leviticus, 25

33. If a Levite is the one to be affected by the right of redemption, at the jubilee he will vacate the purchased property and return to his own home, to the town in which he has a title to property. The houses in the Levites' towns represent their ancestral property in Israel,

Verses related to Leviticus, 25:

Leviticus 25 deals with laws related to the sabbatical year and the year of Jubilee, in which the earth should rest, slaves and debts must be released and land ownership must be restored to its original owners. Below are five verses related to the topics covered in this chapter:

Deuteronomy 15:1-2: "At the end of every seven years, you must cancel all debts. This is the way you must cancel the debts: Every creditor must forgive the debt you have contracted with your neighbor. demand payment from your neighbor or your brother, because the year of cancellation of debt was proclaimed in honor of the Lord.
