John, 7

31. There were many people in the crowds, however, who believed in him; they were saying, 'When the Christ comes, will he give more signs than this man has?'

John 7:52 - "They answered them, are you also from Galilee? Examine and sees that from Galilee never rose a prophet" - This verse shows the disbelief of religious leaders in Jesus and their origin. It is an example of the opposition Jesus faces in his ministry.
