Job, 27

22. Pitilessly he is turned into a target, and forced to flee from the hands that menace him. But he who lays mighty hold on tyrants rises up to take away a life that seemed secure.

Proverbs 11:18: "The wicked receives misleading salary, but whoever sows justice will gather true reward." This verse emphasizes Job's belief in divine righteousness that God will punish the wicked and reward the righteous.

Psalm 34:21: "The evil will kill the wicked, and those who hate the righteous will be condemned." Job believes that those who accuse him are wicked and God will punish them.

Psalm 37:28: "For the Lord loves righteousness and does not abandon his faithful; they will always be protected, but the descent of the wicked will be exterminated." Job believes that God will protect the righteous and punish the wicked.

Proverbs 10:25: "As the sudden storm, which passes and soon goes, so it is the wicked who thrives, without knowing where the misfortune comes from." Job believes that the prosperity of the wicked is temporary and that misfortune will reach them.

Psalm 9:16: "The Lord is known to the righteousness that exercises; the wicked fall into their own traps." This verse emphasizes Job's belief that God is righteous and that the wicked will be punished for his evil deeds.
