Isaiah, 38

1. About then, Hezekiah fell ill and was at the point of death. The prophet Isaiah son of Amoz came and said to him, 'Yahweh says this, "Put your affairs in order, for you are going to die, you will not live." '

Isaiah 38 tells the story of King Hezekiah, who badly gets sick and receives the news that he will die soon. He prays to the Lord and asks him to grant him more life. Psalm 30:2 - "Lord my God, I cry out for you for help, and you heal me." This verse talks about divine healing, which is what Hezekiah asked the Lord. He turned to God in his affliction and was healed.

Psalm 116:1-2-"I love the Lord, for he hears my voice and my supplication. For he leaned his ears into me, I will invoke him as long as I live." This verse shows the importance of prayer and trust in God. Hezekiah trusted God and prayed for healing, and was heard and answered by the Lord.
