Ezra, 3

6. From the first day of the seventh month they began presenting burnt offerings to Yahweh, though the foundations of the Temple of Yahweh had not yet been laid.

Verses related to Ezra, 3:

Ezra 3 describes the reconstruction of the altar and the celebration of the Tabernacle Feast by the newly arrived Jews to Jerusalem. The chapter also mentions the beginning of the construction of the temple and the joy of priests and Levites in the face of this project.

Psalms 100:4: "Enter his gates with gratitude, and in his atria with praise; praise him, and bless his name." This verse encourages believers to enter the temple of God with gratitude and praise, as the Jews did during the celebration of the feast of Tabernacles.

Ezra 6:16: "And the children of Israel, the priests and the Levites, and the rest of the Cativeira's children, made the dedication of this house of God with joy." This verse describes the dedication of the temple rebuilt in Jerusalem, which was a moment of great joy to the Jews.

Ageu 2:9: "The glory of this last house will be greater than that of the first, says the Lord of hosts, and in this place I will give peace, says the Lord of hosts." This verse is a prophecy that points to the glory of the rebuilt temple and is relevant to the emotion felt by the Jews during the construction of the temple in Ezra 3.
