Colossians, 2

1. I want you to know, then, what a struggle I am having on your behalf and on behalf of those in Laodicea, and on behalf of so many others who have never seen me face to face.

Chapter 2 of Colossians deals with the importance of true wisdom and knowledge of God in contrast to false human philosophies and traditions. 2 Timothy 3:16-17: "All Scripture is inspired by God and useful for teaching, rebuke, correction and instruction in righteousness, for the man of God to be able and fully prepared for all good constructions." This verse highlights the importance of Scripture as a source of truth and instruction in the Christian life, a theme that is emphasized in Colossians 2.
