Acts, 3

13. It is the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the God of our ancestors, who has glorified his servant Jesus whom you handed over and then disowned in the presence of Pilate after he had given his verdict to release him.

Verses related to Acts, 3:

Chapter 3 of Acts of the Apostles narrates the healing of a lame man who was at the temple door asking for alms. Peter and John, as they pass him, heal him in the name of Jesus Christ. Peter preaches about repentance and conversion, showing that it is through Jesus that we can be forgiven and receive the Holy Spirit.

Isaiah 53:5: "But he was wounded because of our transgressions, and ground because of our iniquities; the punishment that brings us peace was upon him, and by his footsteps we were healed." The healing of man lame through faith in Jesus Christ occurs in compliance with a prophecy of Isaiah, which shows that he was wounded to give us peace and heal us.

Matthew 4:23: "And Jesus roamed all Galilee, teaching in the synagogues, and preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom, and healing all the diseases and diseases among the people." The healing of the lame man in Acts 3 is an example of the continuation of the ministry of Jesus Christ, who healed the sick and preached the gospel.
