1 Chronicles, 26

31. Of the Hebronites, Jerijah was the head. In the fortieth year of David's reign research was done on the lineage and relationships of the Hebronites, and men of outstanding quality from among them were found at Jazer in Gilead.

2 Chronicles 8:14: "According to the regulation of David, his father, established the divisions of the priests for his service, and the Levites for their functions of praise and ministry before the priests, as it required, and the Porters for their divisions in each door, for so David, man of God, had ordered. " This verse highlights the importance of organizing the groups of porters, according to their divisions in each door, established by David.

Psalm 118:19-20: "Open to me the doors of righteousness; I will enter them and praise the Lord. This is the door of the Lord, by which the righteous can enter." The psalmist makes a metaphorical reference to the gates of justice, which lead to the entrance to the temple of God and to the worship to him.

Isaiah 62:10: "Pass, go through the doors! Prepare the way for the people! Build, build the road! Get the stones! This verse talks about the need to prepare the way for the people to enter the temple of God and to worship it, making the doors accessible and removing obstacles.

Psalm 24:7-10: "Rose, O portals, their heads are raised; Powerful Lord in battle. Once your heads are raised; Once, O eternal doors, that the king of glory may come in! Who is this king of glory? The Lord of hosts, He is the king of glory!" This psalm celebrates the triumphal entry of the king of glory, the Lord of hosts, through the gates of the temple of God.
