1. David vero hos habuit filios, qui ei nati sunt in Hebron: primoge nitum Amnon ex Achinoam Iezrahelitide, secundum Daniel de Abigail de Carmel,

1. These are the sons of David that were born to him in Hebron: the first-born Amnon, by Ahin'o-am the Jezreelitess; the second Daniel, by Ab'igail the Car'melitess,

2. tertium Absalom filium Maacha filiae Tholmai regis Gesur, quartum Adoniam filium Haggith,

2. the third Ab'salom, whose mother was Ma'acah, the daughter of Talmai, king of Geshur; the fourth Adoni'jah, whose mother was Haggith;

4. Sex ergo nati sunt ei in Hebron, ubi regnavit septem annis et sex mensibus. Triginta autem et tribus annis regnavit in Ierusalem.

22. Filii Secheniae: Semeia et Hattus et Igal et Baria et Naaria et Saphat, sex numero.

22. The sons of Shecani'ah: Shemai'ah. And the sons of Shemai'ah: Hattush, Igal, Bari'ah, Neari'ah, and Shaphat, six.

23. Filii Naariae: Elioenai et Ezechias et Ezricam, tres.
