Jeremiah, 51

27. Set ye up a standard in the land, blow the trumpet among the nations, prepare the nations against her, call together against her the kingdoms of Ararat, Minni, and Ashchenaz; appoint a captain against her; cause the horses to come up as the rough caterpillers.

Chapter 51 of Jeremiah talks about the fall and destruction of Babylon, which will be punished by God because of his arrogance and cruelty. The prophet Jeremiah is sent to proclaim the destruction of Babylon and encourage God's people to leave the city before it is too late. Here are five verses related to the topics addressed in Jeremiah 51:

Isaiah 44:27: "I am the one who says about Cyrus, 'He is my pastor and will accomplish all that pleases me; He will say of Jerusalem," Be rebuilt, "and of the temple:" His foundations be released. Isaiah 13:19: "Babylon, the jewel of the kingdoms, glory and pride of the Chaldeans, will be like Sodom and Gomorrah when God destroyed them." This verse speaks of the fall of Babylon, which will be punished for its arrogance and sins against God.

Jeremiah 50:46: "Listen to the cry of Babylon; the sound of great destruction comes from the land of the Chaldeans." This verse speaks of the imminent destruction of Babylon and the cry that will be heard throughout the earth.
