Genesis, 22

17. That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which [is] upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies;

Genesis 22 tells Abraham's story being tested by God when asked to sacrifice his son Isaac as a holocaust. 2 Corinthians 9:6-7: "But I say this: the one who sows little, little will also reap; and the one who sows in abundance, in abundance will also reap. Each one contributes according to his heart; not with sadness, not by embarrassment ; for God loves what gives with joy.
