Exodus, 14

12. [Is] not this the word that we did tell thee in Egypt, saying, Let us alone, that we may serve the Egyptians? For [it had been] better for us to serve the Egyptians, than that we should die in the wilderness.

Psalm 77:19: "Your way has passed the sea, your way through the powerful waters, and no one has known your footsteps." This verse talks about God's wonderful intervention at the Red Sea crossing, highlighting the greatness and power of its way.

Isaiah 43:2: "When I pass through the waters, I will be with you, and when through the rivers they will not submerge you; when you pass through fire, you will not burn you, nor the flame will burn in you." This verse brings God's promise that it will be with its people at all times, including in the most difficult and dangerous situations.

1 Corinthians 10:1-2: "For I do not want, brothers, that you will ignore that our parents were all under the cloud, and all passed by the sea; and they were baptized in Moses, the cloud and in the sea."
