Esther, 16

11. Had so far forth obtained the favour that we shew toward every nation, as that he was called our father, and was continually honoured of all the next person unto the king.

1 Chronicles 16:35-"And say, Save ourselves, O God of our salvation, and gather us, and deliver us from the nations, that we may praise your holy name and glorize ourselves in your praise." This can be related to Mordecai's attitude to trust God's righteousness and wait patiently for his providence.
