Esther, 13

2. After that I became lord over many nations and had dominion over the whole world, not lifted up with presumption of my authority, but carrying myself always with equity and mildness, I purposed to settle my subjects continually in a quiet life, and making my kingdom peaceable, and open for passage to the utmost coasts, to renew peace, which is desired of all men.

Verses related to Esther, 13:

Daniel 2:37-38: "O king, you are king of kings; to whom the God of heaven has given the kingdom, power, strength, and glory. And wherever they dwell children of men, beasts of the countryside and Birds of heaven, he handed them into your hand, and made them dominate over them all; you are the golden head. " - This verse talks about the author's authority and power. In Esther chapter 7, King Ahasuero exercises his power to judge Haman and save Esther and his people.

Ezekiel 37:23: "They will not even contaminate themselves more with their idols, their abominations, and with all their transgressions; but I will deliver them from all their dwellings in which they have sinned, and purify them; so they will be my people , and I will be your God. " - This verse talks about the salvation and purification of God's people. In Chapter 7 of Esther, Esther and his people are saved from Haman's conspiracy by King Ahasuero.

Jeremiah 39:7: "And he blinded the eyes of Zedekiah, and tied him with two bronze chains to take him to Babylon." - This verse talks about the arrest of a leader and his subsequent punishment. In Esther chapter 7, Haman is punished by King Ahasuero by his conspiracy against Esther and his people.

Ezekiel 34:17: "And as for the fat and strong sheep, let them stay, because they will be given the pasture of the mountains of Israel." - This verse talks about the judgment of people, separating them between those that will be spared and those that will be judged. In Chapter 7 of Esther, Haman is judged and condemned for his actions against Esther and his people.
