2 Chronicles, 9

20. And all the drinking vessels of king Solomon [were of] gold, and all the vessels of the house of the forest of Lebanon [were of] pure gold: none [were of] silver; it was [not] any thing accounted of in the days of Solomon.

Matthew 6:33: "But seek first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you." This verse reminds us that we must put God first in our lives, and that He will provide us with all the things we need.

1 Kings 10:23: "Thus King Solomon exceeded all kings of the earth, both in riches and wisdom." This verse reinforces the main theme of 2 chronicles 9, which is the greatness of Solomon as king and his wisdom.

Psalm 72:1-2: "O God, give the King your judgments, and your righteousness to the Son of the King. Judge your people with righteousness, and your poor with judgment." This psalm is a prayer for the welfare of the king, who is responsible for governance with justice and taking care of his people, as Solomon did in his reign.
