Nehemiah, 9

24. And the children came and possessed the land, and thou didst humble before them the inhabitants of the land, the Chanaanites, and gavest them into their hands, with their kings, and the people of the land, that they might do with them as it pleased them.

Verses related to Nehemiah, 9:

Nehemiah 9 is a chapter in which the Levites say a prayer of confession for the sins of Israel and reaffirm the covenant with God. The verses related to the topics addressed in this chapter are:

Deuteronomy 32:3-4: "For I will appeal to the name of the Lord; Give glory to our God. He is the rock, whose work is perfect, because all his righteous ways are. God is faithful, who has no iniquity; straight is him. " In this verse, Moses exalts God's faithfulness and righteousness, themes that are reinforced in the prayer of the Levites in Nehemiah 9.
