Luke, 16

24. And he cried, and said: Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, to cool my tongue: for I am tormented in this flame.

This verse shows the dangers of greed and love of money, which can lead people to move away from faith and suffer the consequences of this.

Hebrews 13:5: "Keep free from love to money and are content with what you have, because God Himself said, 'I will never leave you, I will never abandon you.'" This verse emphasizes the importance of contenting what one has and trusting in God rather than obsessed with money and material possessions.
