Leviticus, 16

2. And he commanded him, saying, Speak to Aaron thy brother, that he enter not at all into the sanctuary, which is within the veil before the propitiatory, with which the ark is covered, lest he die, (for I will appear in a cloud over the oracle,)

Leviticus chapter 16 deals with the atonement day ceremony, in which the high priest made a series of offerings and purifications to atone for the sins of the people of Israel. The selected verses are:

Exodus 30:10: "And once a year, Aaron will do atonement on the ends of the altar; with the blood of the sin of atonement sin, he will do atonement over him once a year for all your generations. Most Holy to the Lord. " This verse mentions the sin offering of atonement, which was used on the day of atonement in Leviticus 16.
