Isaiah, 40

28. Knowest thou not, or hast thou not heard? the Lord is the everlasting God, who hath created the ends of the earth: he shall not faint, nor labour, neither is there any searching out of his wisdom.

Isaiah 40 is a chapter that talks about God's consolation to his people. He begins with someone's voice crying out in the desert preparing the way to the Lord and ends with a promise that those who wait in the Lord will renew their strength. Isaiah 43:2 - "When passing through the waters, I will be with you, and when through the rivers, they will not submerge you; when you pass through fire, you will not burn you, nor the flame will burn in you." This verse talks about God's protective presence in the midst of the challenges of life.

Psalm 27:14 - "Wait in the Lord, encourage you, and He will strengthen your heart; wait, therefore, in the Lord." This verse encourages those who wait for the Lord to be animated and strengthened by their power.
