Isaiah chapter 29 begins with a warning against Jerusalem, which is described as a city surrounded and oppressed, but does not realize its condition of spiritual blindness. Revelation 21:5: "And he who was sitting on the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And I said to me, Write; for these words are true and faithful." Just as Isaiah talks about the restoration and renewal of Jerusalem, Revelation talks about the New Jerusalem and the renewal of all things.
